A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Dele Momodu, has said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu may soon begin to realise the true intentions of some politicians around him.

Momodu made the remarks while speaking during an interview on Sunday Politics aired on Channels Television.

During the interview, Momodu pointed to the recent political move by former Minister of Interior and ex-Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola, who has now aligned with the ADC despite his long-standing political relationship with President Tinubu.

According to Momodu, the development reflects a shift in political loyalties and signals that more politicians may begin to reassess their alliances in the coming months.

He also alleged that many individuals currently surrounding the president may be motivated by personal interests, adding that some are waiting to benefit from political appointments or other advantages.

Momodu further predicted that once such expectations are no longer met, some politicians may distance themselves from the president in search of new political opportunities elsewhere.

The media entrepreneur also described his comments as a prediction, stating that in the weeks and months ahead, President Tinubu may begin to see what he called the “true colours” of some of the people around him.
