Iconic International Holdings has announced plans to host the 2026 edition of the Iconic Africa Under 40 CEOs Summit & Honors, scheduled for June 20 at The Capital on the Park Hotel.

According to the organisers, the event aims to identify, celebrate, and empower young African business leaders who are driving innovation and shaping the continent’s socio-economic transformation.

The President and Founder of the organisation, Temisan O. Louis, said the summit will provide a high-level platform for entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors to engage in meaningful and transformative dialogue.

He noted that hosting the event in Sandton positions Africa’s emerging business leaders at the centre of one of the continent’s most vibrant economic hubs.

Louis added that the summit will focus on key areas including recognising excellence, fostering cross-border networking among founders and investors, promoting discussions on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, aligning business innovation with the African Union’s Agenda 2063, and connecting startups with established industry leaders.

Also speaking, the Chief Executive Officer of the organisation, Michelle Chavundora, described the event as more than an awards ceremony, noting that it is designed to serve as a catalyst for Africa’s economic growth over the next decade.

Earlier, the Executive Director, Malaika Lobengula, said the summit will feature leadership panel sessions and keynote addresses from global industry experts.

Lobengula further explained that the event will include a networking gala for CEOs, venture capitalists, and government officials, as well as a black-tie Afrocentric awards ceremony recognising outstanding young leaders across various sectors.

She also called on corporate organisations and individuals to support the initiative, emphasising its role in promoting leadership and excellence across Africa.
