Deputy House Spokesman, Dr. Philip Agbese, has felicitated with Nigerians on the commencement of the month of July, urging citizens to embrace the new month with renewed hope, resilience, faith and commitment to national unity and development.
In a goodwill message issued through his Special Assistant, Hon. Ibrahim Sani, Agbese thanked God for preserving the lives of Nigerians and granting the nation the opportunity to witness another month. He described the beginning of July as a fresh opportunity for reflection, renewed purpose and collective efforts toward building a stronger and more prosperous country.
The federal lawmaker acknowledged the economic and security challenges facing the nation but commended Nigerians for their resilience, patriotism and unwavering belief in the country’s democratic future. He urged citizens to remain hopeful, law-abiding and committed to peaceful coexistence and national development.
Agbese reaffirmed the commitment of the House of Representatives, under the leadership of the Speaker, , to enacting people-centred legislation, strengthening oversight and providing effective representation that improves the welfare of Nigerians.
He added that the Green Chamber would continue to support policies and initiatives aimed at promoting economic growth, enhancing national security, deepening democratic governance, empowering young people and improving the overall well-being of citizens.
The Deputy House Spokesman also reiterated his commitment to delivering quality and responsive representation to the people of Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency in Benue State through impactful legislation, constituency projects and sustained engagement with stakeholders.
Agbese prayed for peace, divine protection, good health, favour and greater opportunities for Nigerians throughout July. He wished the people of his constituency, Benue State, Nigerians across the country and those in the diaspora a peaceful, productive and fulfilling new month, while praying for enduring peace, unity and prosperity for the nation.
