News Release:
Nigerian skitmaker, Carter Efe, has emerged victorious over street-hop artiste, Portable, in a celebrity boxing match held on Friday night in Lagos.
The bout, tagged Chaos in the Ring 4, took place at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, drawing significant attention following weeks of intense verbal exchanges between both entertainers.
Carter Efe secured a unanimous decision victory, with all three judges scoring the contest 27–30 in his favour. The win earned him a ₦50 million cash prize.
Speaking after the fight, Carter Efe expressed confidence in his performance, describing the contest as straightforward and declaring that he dominated from the opening round. He claimed his opponent struggled to recover after taking early punches, adding that by the later rounds, Portable appeared weakened and unable to sustain momentum.
“I feel like an international world star. My new name is Carter Mayweather. The fight was easy,” he said.

However, Portable disputed the outcome, alleging bias in the contest. In a live video shared on social media, he accused organisers of failing to properly count his punches and questioned the professionalism of his opponent.
The event also drew support from Lagos-based businessman and socialite, Emeka Okonkwo, who confirmed he would fulfil his ₦50 million pledge to Carter Efe following the victory. He congratulated the skitmaker, reaffirming his commitment to reward the performance.
Chief Executive Officer of Balmoral Group Promotions, Ezekiel Adamu, described the event as a success, noting that it delivered on its promise of entertainment and competitive action.
The fight itself saw Portable adopt an aggressive approach with wide punches, while Carter Efe capitalised on his height and reach advantage to land cleaner combinations. Despite Portable’s previous wins over fellow entertainers, Carter Efe maintained control throughout the bout.
The contest marks another high-profile celebrity boxing event in Nigeria’s entertainment scene, with organisers hinting at more editions in the future.
