Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has been appointed Director of Finance and Treasurer of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections.
The appointment is contained in the newly constituted campaign council unveiled by the APC, as the party begins preparations for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Oborevwori will oversee the council’s finance and treasury directorate, with Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Hon. Abubakar Kabir Bichi serving as Deputy Directors of Finance and Treasurer.
Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun was named Director of Fundraising, while former Zamfara State Governor Abdulaziz Yari will serve as Director-General of the campaign council and Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma as Secretary.
The appointment further places Governor Oborevwori at the centre of the APC’s financial coordination as the party mobilises support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Oborevwori joined the APC in April 2025 and has since emerged as one of the party’s key political figures in Delta State.
