A leading media organization, DOTT Television, has concluded a two-week industrial training programme for staff members and media practitioners in Asaba, Delta State.
The training, which focused on modern broadcasting techniques and media professionalism, was described as an eye-opening experience that exposed journalists and broadcasters to advanced knowledge in the broadcasting industry.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, the convener of the programme, Sir Tony, commended all participants for their commitment, dedication, and zeal throughout the training exercise.
Several media organizations also praised DOTT Television for organizing what they described as a timely and impactful programme for broadcast journalists.
According to some participants, the training is the first of its kind to enlighten broadcasters on critical issues necessary for the growth and sustainability of broadcasting and media organizations in today’s rapidly evolving global media landscape.
Journalists and broadcasters who participated in the programme expressed gratitude to the organizers and management of DOTT Television for providing the opportunity to enhance their professional skills and broaden their knowledge in the field.
Also speaking, Mr. Chukwudi Okoli Ugbaja, a Professor of English and resource person for the training, urged television presenters, reporters, and media organizations to regularly organize professional media training for staff members in order to improve productivity and maintain excellence in the media profession.
