President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Mrs, Oyinsanya SAN on her election as the first democratically elected female president of the Nigeria bar association, describing the achievement as a major milestone for the legal profession and a victory for merit, excellence and gender inclusion.
The President praised her distinguished career, noting that her integrity, professionalism, and commitment to justice earned her the confidence of lawyers across the country.
He also urged the new NBA President to unite the association by reaching out to her fellow contestants and addressing concerns raised during the election process.
President Tinubu expressed confidence that her leadership will strengthen the legal profession, uphold the rule of law, and promote reforms that improve access to justice. He also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working with the Nigerian Bar Association to deepen democracy, advance judicial reforms, and promote national development.
He wished Mrs. Badejo-Okusanya a successful and impactful tenure.
