Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State have endorsed Ramson Tega Onoyake as the consensus candidate for the House of Representatives ahead of the party’s primary election.
The endorsement was announced on May 1, 2026, following a stakeholders’ meeting involving key party leaders and members across the constituency.

Onoyake, a chieftain of the party, emerged as the preferred candidate to represent the Okpe/Sapele/Uvwie Federal Constituency in the forthcoming elections. The decision, according to party insiders, was reached after consultations aimed at ensuring unity and strengthening the APC’s chances at the polls.
Party stakeholders expressed confidence in Onoyake’s leadership capacity, political experience, and grassroots support, describing him as a unifying figure capable of delivering effective representation.
The move is expected to streamline the party’s primary process within the constituency, as efforts intensify ahead of the general elections.
