Veteran Nigerian singer, Daddy Showkey, has appealed to the twin brothers and former P-Square members, Peter and Paul Okoye, to put their differences aside and reconcile.
Speaking in an interview with GoldMyne TV, Daddy Showkey expressed concern over the prolonged disagreement between the brothers, describing P-Square as one of Africa’s biggest and most influential music brands.
He noted that the success of entertainers is largely driven by their fans, who invest their time, support and resources in their careers.
Daddy Showkey therefore urged the brothers to consider the impact of their disagreements on their fans and the legacy they have built together.
The veteran singer stressed that despite their differences, Peter and Paul remain brothers and should not allow their dispute to create lasting divisions within the family.
He also appealed to them to think about the effect of their conflict on their children and future generations, urging them to resolve their differences peacefully.
P-Square, which became one of Nigeria’s most successful music duos with hit songs and international recognition, has experienced periods of separation and reconciliation over the years.
Their latest disagreements have continued to attract public attention, with their elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, also becoming involved in disputes surrounding the family and the group.
